Choosing the Right Turf

There are many turf varieties available on the market, and it can be tricky to work out which one is right for your needs. Here at Placid Hills Turf, we're happy to help you make the right decision for your landscaping project. Our range includes:

Wintergreen Couch—this soft, dense and extremely durable variety is bred to withstand cold temperatures and frost. It requires seven hours minimum of direct sunlight each day to thrive, so it’s a popular choice in the Lockyer Valley.
Zoysia—this fine-leafed, soft variety flourishes in extreme heat and humidity. And the best news? Your lawn will require less mowing than any other commercially grown grass in Australia!
Kikuyu—this is a superior variety of Kikuyu grass which will maintain its colour all year round. It’s a great low-maintenance option too, as it doesn’t seed or require frequent patching.
